Guest scientist

Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology is visiting the Institute of Water Chemistry (IWC) as a guest scientist from 24 May to 17 June 22. She is researching the behaviour of organic trace pollutants in advanced oxidation processes (AOP) after treatment in biomembrane reactors as part of the joint DeGrey project (funded by AiF-international). The investigations that Dr. Thi Thu Trang carried out in Dresden with synthetic water will later be repeated at her institute in Hanoi with real waste water, all results of the studies will be continuously discussed with researches of IWC.
