New PhD Student
Quazi Farjana Lamia
We are pleased to welcome our new PhD student, Quazi Farjana Lamia!
Lamia, who is from Bangladesh, joined IWC in February 2025 as part of the PERSEPHONE project. Her research focuses on Membrane Capacitive Deionization (MCDI), with the goal of applying this technology to remove per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from water, including drinking water.
We wish Lamia a great start and much success in her research!
