Lecture: Prof. Stefan Stolte Speaks About PFAS in the Environment
Prof. Stefan Stolte will give a lecture on “Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in the Environment” at the Rähnitz Church in northern Dresden. These substances, also known as “forever chemicals,” have increasingly drawn public attention due to their extreme persistence and widespread presence in the environment. In his lecture, Prof. Stolte explains in an accessible way:
- What PFAS are and where they are used
- How these substances can enter the environment and drinking water.
- What risks they pose to humans and the environment.
- What solutions researchers are developing.
