Titel (Englisch)
Holistic system for the construction of grouped small sewage treatment plants with integrated seepage of rainfall for a sustainable protection of the environment and resources – GKKA
Kurzbeschreibung (Deutsch)
Kurzbeschreibung (Englisch)
This project has the following objectives: formulation of a unified approach for the planning, the construction and the employment of grouped small sewage treatment plants, the pairing of the simulation program PhreeqC, that models geochemical reactions, with the simulation program PCSiWaPro, that models the water balance and the water transport, in order to simulate reactive transport in the vadose zone, the programming of a multi-species-model for the modelling of transport in PCSiWaPro, the extension of the simulation code of PCSiWaPro to modelling water balance and transport processes in the vadose zone in 3D, the development of new mathematical schemes for the time integration and the solution of the equations that arise from the given models, the formulation of guidelines for the exploration and planning of grouped small sewage treatment plants, and the formulation of guidelines for the remote monitoring, the employment and the maintenance of grouped sewage treatment plants.
