Departure in Dresden, trip to the karst spring „Blautopf“ in Blaubeuren (DE), arrival at the youth hostel in Stein am Rhein (CH).

Trip to the “Rheinfall” in Schaffhausen (CH), ride over the “Sustenpass” and exploration of the Aare canyon. Afterwards arrival at the youth hostel in Fiesch (CH).

Cruise on the underground lake „St. Leonard“ and trip to the “Earth Pyramids of Euseigne”. Trip to the greatest weight dam of the world („Grande Dixence“) in the afternoon and spare time in Sion (CH).

15.08.2017

All-day excursion in the Alps to “Aletsch Glacier” and “Eggishorn” (2926 m.ü.M.).

16.08.2017

Trip to „Massa Level Recorder“ with the topic “hydrometric records in high mountains”. Afterwards explorations in Brig (CH) including level recorder and lift bridge. Informations about flood protection in Brig.

17.08.2017

Short hike to the Rhone glacier and ride to the European watershed (North Sea/ Mediterranean Sea). Arrival in Hard at „Lake Constance“ (A).

18.08.2017

Excursion to „Vorarlberger Illwerke”, including a tour to the headquarter (inclusive lunch), into the pump storage station “Kopswerk II” and to “Silvretta Reservoire”.

19.08.2017

Tour to the mountain fall „Flims“, including a short hike around the „Cauma Lake“ to the viewing platform “Spir”. Swimming in the alpine rhine for brave students.

20.08.2017

Individual return to Dresden.
