TUHAN Networking Meeting in Princeton
TUHAN aims to promote research collaboration on urban heat adaptation between Germany and North America. Four German researchers from TU Dresden, Heidelberg University, and the Leibniz Institute for Ecological Spatial Research, were on site to discuss the current state of research and shared research interests with a total of approximately 30 participants. On October 6, the meeting began with an excursion to various parks in Manhattan, New York City. During the workshop on October 7 and 8, the researchers exchanged experiences and project ideas. Joint publications and project ideas are expected to emerge until July 2027, when the next meeting will take place in Dresden.
