Shany Ben Moshe from Technion, Israel, visited the INOWAS group for one month

Shany Ben Moshe visited our group within the scope of the SAT Planer project for a month long research stay. She is pursuing her Masters at the Technion in Haifa, Israel under supervision of Prof. Alex Furman and Prof. Noam Weisbroad. During her stay she conducted a series of infiltration experiments with the 6 m unsaturated soil column of our laboratory. The column is filled with soil from the Shaftan soil aquifer treatment basins in Israel. Aim of her research and the SAT-Planer project in general is to optimize maximum recharge rates in these basins while receiving high water treatment rates in the unsaturated zone.
