The INOWAS group is expanding with three more members working on MAR-related research
In summer 2017 our INOWAS group decided to join forces with members of the Institute for Groundwater Management (IGW) of TU Dresden and work closely together on research topics related to managed aquifer recharge. The IGW has an outstanding expertise on different aspects of groundwater management and is very active on both fundamental and applied research. So from now on we'll work closely together with Falk Händel and Fritz Kalwa from IGW, as well as with Jens Fahl, a member of the Institute of Waste Management and Circular Economy (IAK) with solid experience on laboratory investigations of soil-aquifer-treatment (SAT) systems. The cooperation will focus on laboratory and field tests, as we as numerical modeling of a new aquifer recharge concept developed within the frame of the newly started SATPlanner project.
