9th Dresden Water Seminar

On Thursday, 30 June 2022, the Department of Hydro Sciences of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences invites you to the 9th Dresden Water Seminar in the Festsaal Dülferstraße in the Alte Mensa.

The Dresden Water Seminar is part of four compulsory modules in the Master's degree programmes Waste Management and Contaminated Sites, Hydrobiology, Hydrology and Water Management respectively. Additional interested parties are cordially invited.

This year's water seminar is dedicated to the topic "Digital Water Worlds". The lecture topics include opportunities and challenges of Climate Services, Digital Twins, the future of our inland waters, water management in multi-models and microbial data science.

The lectures start at 8 a.m., the detailed programme is available here. The all-day lecture programme will be rounded off with a joint barbecue evening from 6 p.m. in the courtyard of the new chemistry building (Bergstr. 66).
