💬 Why She Chose the HSE Programme
"I'm very passionate about the physics of water and wanted to study extreme weather events like floods. My bachelor’s in civil engineering lacked depth in advanced hydrology, so this programme gave me the chance to dive deep. I also developed a strong research-oriented mindset, which I value as the best part of my time at TU Dresden."
Her Experience in the Programme
"It was definitely challenging, leaving my comfort zone during COVID and adjusting to a new culture. But I found my pace, met the right people in the programme, and eventually evolved. It was like entering a whole new simulation. I also met people from places I never expected like for example across South America."
🌍 Where She Is Now
Nandhini works as an urban water management planner, designing sewer networks to meet the challenges of climate change. She applies a research-driven and creative approach to finding solutions for non traditional problems.
