
Shaping the Mobility System of the Future
The "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences is the largest academic Competence Center in the field of transport sciences in Germany. With over 60 years of tradition in research and teaching in Dresden, the faculty is dedicated to the sustainable development of all transportation and infrastructure systems in order to meet the changing mobility needs of society.
Research and teaching focus on rail, road and air transport systems, Transport Economics and Data Science as well as mobility and traffic flow in a systemic manner. The interdisciplinary cooperation between engineering, natural sciences, economics and social sciences enables a holistic view of mobility from social, economic and ecological aspects.
The faculty offers a wide range of Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral programs - research-oriented, future-oriented and practice-oriented. Around 200 researchers and over 1,000 students have access to more than 30 modern laboratories and experimental and testing facilities for research and teaching.
