The Research Training Group AIRMETRO (RTG 2947) at TU Dresden is now accepting applications for its new PhD cohort starting in May 2026.

We are offering 9 fully funded PhD positions, each linked to a specific research topic within the AIRMETRO framework.

• Your application is reviewed by the respective topic supervisors

• Interviews with supervisors

• Final selection based on your academic qualifications, your background to the proposed PhD project, your scientific motivation and potential for doctoral research, your ability to work in an interdisciplinary research environment and the overall evaluation by the supervising team
