30th Anniversary of the Safety Technology Conference

Dr. Ulrich Maschek eröffnete die Tagung und hielt die Jubiläumsansprache.
This year's Safety Technology Conference of the Chair of Railway Signaling and Transport Safety Technology could be celebrated - as it is now the 30th conference in the series. Dr. Ulrich Maschek referred to this in his speech and looked to the past and future. In particular, he addressed the Chair's services to the industry:
-
Teaching in a very specialized field,
-
the introduction of integrated data management in LST planning and
-
promoting the development of ETCS in Germany.

Eine Podiumsdiskussion schloss den ersten Tag ab.
The symposium, moderated by Prof. Trinckauf, focused on (LST) planning regulations, following discussions on the subject the previous year. The first day was a stocktaking session: what organizational constraints exist, what does the supervisory authority say about this and how is planning carried out abroad?

Das Sandtheater Dresden begeisterte die Teilnehmer.
A discussion on this concluded the first day's specialist program. Afterwards, the Sandtheater Dresden delighted the audience with the program "Pictures of a City". The evening event at the Brauhaus am Waldschlösschen was also a great success for all participants.

In der Live-Umfrage wurde die Meinung des Fachpublikums eingeholt.
On the second day, the speakers presented initial solutions. For the first time this year, a live survey was conducted among the conference audience, the results of which will be incorporated into a project by the Chair on the comprehensibility of regulations. In this way, it was possible to directly involve the users of the regulations.

Eine der wichtigsten Aktivitäten auf der Fachtagung sind die Pausengespräche.
The venue, the Boulevardtheater Dresden, once again proved to be suitable for the event. In particular, the all-important discussions during the breaks could be held here in a pleasant atmosphere. The 30th Safety Engineering Conference was a complete success and will be held again on 17 + 18 September 2026, when the topic will be "Consistent data management in the LST planning process".
