How are we navigating the campus today and how will we do so in 2035? – Join the discussion!
Invitation to the presentation and discussion of the results of the 2022 mobility survey
Each day, thousands of people commute to the TU Dresden (TUD) campus, whether to study or to work. The question is, which means of transportation do TUD students and employees use? What are the reasons for their decision to cycle, drive, take the train or bus? How could a campus with fewer cars be made a reality? These and other questions were analyzed in the mobility survey conducted among TUD students and staff in 2022. The results will be presented and discussed with all interested parties on March 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
Based on last year's survey, the actual mobility behavior of employees and students was collected, analyzed and compared with the results of the 2008 and 2018 mobility surveys. This makes it possible to identify trends and develop scenarios for the year 2035. The results and analyses are a key basis for proposed solutions and measures of a mobility concept for TUD's main campus.
The Vice-Rector University Culture Prof. Dr. Roswitha Böhm cordially invites you to the presentation of the results of the mobility survey. Following the presentation by PD Dr. Rico Wittwer (Head of the Research Field Mobility Behavior and Transport Planning at the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences), we would like to discuss possible consequences and recommendations for action for the campus with you. Take the opportunity to share your ideas and impulses on the topic of mobility on campus and join us on March 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the Schönfeld Lecture Hall of the Barkhausen Building (BAR/SCHÖ/E).
