MANOS Pupil Project Week at the Chair of Vehicle Mechatronics
The pupils are instructed in the measurement technique of the test vehicle.
As part of this year's pupil project week with the Martin-Andersen-Nexö-Gymnasium, the Department of Vehicle Mechatronics supervised four pupils in the period from February 28th to March 04th February 2022.
In the project "Determination and Evaluation of Driving Cycles on Real Vehicles", the pupils had the opportunity to learn the basics of in-vehicle communication by means of the CAN bus system and to test them by measuring data on the vehicle. The speed and acceleration signals recorded by the students were then analyzed as part of a driving dynamics assessment. Apart from the purely technical aspects, the methodical procedure of such an evaluation was thus also conveyed.
The chair wishes the pupils continued success in their everyday school life and hopes to have sparked interest and enjoyment of their scientific work.
