Innovation project ABSOLUT reaches the next test phase - press presentation on February 28th, 2022 at the Leipzig exhibition center
Together with the partners Sedenius Engineering GmbH and IAV GmbH - Ingenieursgesellschaft Auto und Verkehr - the important milestone of closed automated driving on the exhibition grounds of the city of Leipzig was reached in the "Automated Vehicles" work package of the ABSOLUT project.
As part of the press event on February 28, 2022, the project status of the entire consortium was presented to the representatives of the project sponsor, state and federal ministries, the city of Leipzig and the press and demonstrated in test drives. By July 2022, the operating area will also be extended to the route outside the exhibition center and the scope of automated driving functions will be supplemented in particular by the automatic crossing of traffic lights and stops.
