MDR-Wissen accompanies the project ABSOLUT
In the week from February 21 to 25, 2022, the mdr-Wissen team accompanied the work of the partners IAV GmbH - Ingenieursgesellschaft Auto und Verkehr, Sedenius Engineering GmbH and TU Dresden in the "Automated Vehicles" work package in the ABSOLUT project for automated driving in public transport.
The focus was on testing the developed functions for localization, path planning and vehicle control under the special challenges of the exhibition center with narrow bus stop areas and lanes, tight curve radii (reversing hammer) and shadowing of the navigation satellite systems (underpasses).
