Locations
The chair is located at four sites:
Jante-Bau: The main offices and the Institute for Automotive Engineering Dresden are situated in the Jante building. Moreover, the building comprises computer rooms for our students as well as rooms for teaching and the lecture hall JAN/27/H.
The Vehicle Test Centre of the TU Dresden (FVZ): This is the central research site for automotive engineering in Saxony. It comprises 15 modern test benches for research and teaching, 4 laboratories, several seminar rooms and rooms for practical trainings as well as offices.

Falkenbrunnen: The Innovation Centre Automotive Engineering is located there. The building comprises offices for members of staff as well as computer rooms for our students. Furthermore, the practical trainings for the lectures “Embedded Controller” and “Diagnostics of Mechatronic Vehicle Systems” take place there.
Potthoff-Bau: Additional offices for members of staff are located there. Also, the huge lecture haals of the Potthoff-Bau are an excellent support especially concerning the chair's lectures with a high number of participants.
