Fields of Work
Annika Dix has been employed at the Chair of Automobile Engineering at TU Dresden since August 2023, where she is setting up the research group for Automotive Human Factors. During her studies and doctorate at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, she specialized in the research field of human problem solving using methodological approaches from Psychology and Neuroscience. Starting in 2015 as a research associate at TU Dresden, she conducted research first on factors influencing perceptual decision making and problem solving in humans such as age and incentive motivation, and from 2019 at the Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop (CeTI) on the interplay between human cognition and contextual factors in dynamic interactions to derive demands and objectives in the development and use of augmented cyber-physical systems.
