Running gears of rail vehicles
This course provides knowledge of the theoretical fundamentals of running gear technology and the practical design and dimensioning of modern rail vehicle running gear. Using modern calculation methods, the influence of stochastic parameters (e.g., track geometry, wheel–rail contact, coupling elements between running gear and car body) on ride safety and comfort is demonstrated.
