Excursions

virTUro is a student-developed virtual rail vehicle concept supervised by the Chair. The project highlights student innovation through a comprehensive CAD model combined with interactive virtual reality (VR) applications for educational use.

Studying rail vehicle technology

The Chair plays a central role in the education of students in the rail vehicle engineering specialization of the program ‘Automotive and Rail Vehicle Engineering.’ This program is part of the Mechanical Engineering degree. Therefore, all regulations of the Mechanical Engineering program apply to the curriculum and course of study. This particularly concerns the admission requirements, the standard period of study of 10 semesters, the basic and advanced practical training, as well as the examination regulations.
