Irrespective of the topics offered here, you can submit your own topic suggestions and practical topics from industry for review at any time. Inquiries should be addressed to the secretariat. Please note that for topics in cooperation with practice partners, a review and approval by the chair is mandatory for successful recognition before the start of the task.

Mandatory information on the preparation

Are you interested in a thesis topic offered by the Chair of Rail Vehicles and would like to work on it? Then it is first necessary for you to make a few basic considerations about the topic, structure them and put them down on paper. This should be done in the form of an exposé, the length of which should not exceed 3 pages (font size 11, single line spacing). The exposé should serve as a basis for discussion for you and your supervisor in order to formulate the final assignment.

An interim presentation must be given halfway through the project to present the results and findings of your work to date. At least two bound copies (single-sided print) must be submitted - please discuss the type of binding with your supervisor. In addition, a data carrier with a digital version (PDF) must be submitted. For final theses, the submission of a diploma poster in digital form is mandatory by the submission deadline.
