Donation from LMAR GmbH for cooperation on international rail freight logistics
LMAR GmbH, specializing in Eurasian rail freight, has donated €250,000 to the chair of Railway Operations of TU Dresden to support research and development in international rail freight logistics.
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Germany's Ruhr region, LMAR GmbH has expanded its global reach with offices in China. The company offers diverse logistics solutions, including rail, air, and sea transport, as well as container trucking, project transportation, and on-site warehousing. The company's mission is to build and integrate reliable supply chain systems for its customers across Eurasia, especially focusing on rail transport and comprehensive logistics solutions.
The donation underscores LMAR's commitment to fostering innovation in logistics and supporting academic institutions that align with its vision. TU Dresden, a globally recognized university, is at the forefront of research in logistics, and international rail freight transport.
