Excursion to Kutná Hora
Students and staff members of TU Dresden during the excursion to Kutná Hora
Students and lecturers from the Faculty of Transport Sciences at TU Dresden, the Chair of Railway Systems Operation and the Chair of Public Transport, visited the town of Kutná Hora as part of an excursion to Prague and Central Bohemia. This Central Bohemian town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has a population of around 21,000 and a very well-developed and integrated public transport network comprising city and regional routes. The basic frequency of city transport is 15 minutes on weekdays and 30 minutes at weekends, as well as numerous regional bus routes. The students had the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the planning and organisation of public transport.
