Honorary Mention in RAS Student Paper Competition

The Railway Application Section (RAS), as part of INFORMS, facilitates exchanges between practitioners, consultants and academics with a focus on operations research and management science in railroad applications. To further this objective, the 2023 RAS Student Paper Competition was organized and winners were announced on the 16th of October as part of the INFORMS Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. With his contribution to the competition titled "Freight train scheduling for industrial lines with multiple railway undertakings", Daniel Haalboom received an honorary mention.
