Beijinig Jiaotong University organizes the annual „International Symposium on Railway Operations Research“ where the latest trends in the application of operation research techniques are discussed. The Chair of Rail and Public Urban Transport – represented by Mr. Moritz Ruf – presented its research related to automated planning and control („Single wagonload transport in the future – the digitization of shunting yards“) on December 2nd 2018.
