Learning objectives
On completion of the course, participants should have in-depth knowledge of the system functions of ETCS. Have gained an understanding of locating, monitoring and the structure of the data language in ETCS and have knowledge of the implementation of railroad operations under ETCS.
Target group
The course is aimed at project managers and project engineers.
Prerequisites for participation
Participants should have a basic knowledge of control and safety technology and train control.
Scope and methods
We offer the course as a face-to-face and e-learning course.
The classroom course comprises seminar-style lectures and demonstrations on the ETCS simulation system in the safety laboratory and in the railroad operations laboratory, which take place over 3 days.
Our e-learning course consists of synchronous and asynchronous lectures, live chats, video sequences as well as self-tests and forums for participants' questions and is held over 3 consecutive days.
