Elías Bracho Loreto receiving his ATL Master with grade Excellent
On December 11th, Mr. Loreto defended his master’s thesis entitled “Environmental impact of air transportation across different climate zones”, achieving a final grade of 1.1 on the German scale. This marks the conclusion of his journey as a 2-year master’s student in the Air Transport and Logistics (ATL) program at TU Dresden, Faculty of Traffic Sciences.
His research focused on comparing aircraft emissions in tropical, midlatitude, and subarctic atmospheres, considering conventional jet fuel, sustainable aviation fuels, and hydrogen combustion. The study highlighted the vulnerability of tropical and midlatitude summer atmospheres to the increasing radiative forcing and extended residence time of emissions such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and water vapor.
We congratulate Mr. Loreto for this great success and are wishing him all the best for his future career. It was great having had you with us, Elias !
