Successful completion of the research seminar

On 12.07.2019 the current students of the 8th semester with the study focus in "Aviation" finished their research seminar with this year's topic "Development of solution strategies for the handling of unavoidable obstacles on the aerodrome” with a professional, very well structured presentation of results. The three authors impressed the audience with their high level of commitment to this safety-critical topic. The subsequent discussion with representatives of Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH, Flughafen Dresden GmbH and the State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport, among others, showed that the students' work has a high intrinsic value.

This year, Dr Thomas Bierwagen and Dr Ralph Leemüller from DFS once again provided support for the research seminar. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to them once again!
