Visiting professor for Aeronautics and Astronautics Hamsa Balakrishnan from the M.I.T. during July 2017 at the Institute of Logistics and Aviation
In line with the senior fellowship program at TU Dresden (Future concept) we could win Mrs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamsa Balakrishnan from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to take part in a teaching and visiting research fellowship at the IFL. Mrs. Balakrishnan is a designated expert in the field of process automation with application to the vicinity of airports, slot management and ground procedures.
During her visit Mrs. Balakrishnan will give a variety of talks and fellowship lectures as of 07/03/2017.
Furthermore, it is intended to conduct collaborative research work involving optimized business flight trajectories under airport - capacity constraints. More specific information about the dates will be announced soon – interested students and colleagues are encouraged to participate in the challenging and exciting technical discussions.
