Junior research group competition for own research project

For many years now, the DGLR has been promoting junior research groups in which students work together on aerospace-related projects.

These junior research groups are intended to form the next generation of scientific expertise.
To expand this commitment, the DGLR launched the first Young Investigators Group Competition last year to give students the opportunity to realise their own research project in the field of aerospace in the form of a Young Investigators Group. This year, the competition is set to continue.

The winners will be supported with start-up funding of 3,000 euros and second and third place with 500 euros each. In addition, the DGLR offers the opportunity to present the project at the German Aerospace Congress (DLRK) in September 2023.
