Open Construction Site: Smart Mobility Lab Opens Its Doors

On Sunday, 28 June 2026, the TUD | Smart Mobility Lab invites visitors to an open construction site event in Hoyerswerda/OT Schwarzkollm from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Visitors will gain insights into the emerging research infrastructure and learn more about the future research areas of the Smart Mobility Lab. The programme includes guided construction site tours, presentations of the overall concept, and opportunities for professional exchange.
The Smart Mobility Lab is being established as an interdisciplinary research infrastructure for future mobility technologies. Its focus includes automated and autonomous driving, unmanned aircraft systems, connected mobility, and innovative testing and validation environments.
