Project History in Trajectory Management
Here, an overview of historic projects in the field of Trajectory Management is provided:
- CDO-Speedbrakes: Optimized CDO under uncertain environmental and mission conditions
- MEFUL - Minimizing flight emissions while sustaining guaranteed operational safety as a contribution to an environmentally friendly air transport system – in the context of the fifth Aviation Research Programme, a project funded by the BMWi as well as the Lufthansa Cargo AG
- ReMAP: Risk analysis and conflict resolution of multi-criteria-efficient approach and departure procedures
- UTOPIA - Universal Trajectory Synchronization for Highly Predictable Arrivals Enabled by Full Automation, project founded by SESAR as part of the Workpackage E.
- UTOPIA II: Enhanced Flight Planning by introducing stochastic trajectory data
- V-PAT – Porting of the “Vertical Profile Analysis Tool” (V-PAT) of EUROCONTROL in JAVA and functional extension with new parameters and innovative concepts for the analysis and assessment of Continuous Climb and Continuous Descent Operations (CCO/CDO), project funded by EUROCONTROL and SESAR
Numerous projects have been worked on in cooperation with industry partners.
