DFG Liaison Officer
For the period from 01.11.2020 to 31.10.2024, Prof. Fricke is appointed by the TU Dresden as DFG Liaison Officer. The Liaison Officer is the on-site contact person at the TU Dresden alongside the Project Scouts (Directorate 5) for applicants at the DFG. In order to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of this advisory function, this web application is intended to provide the most comprehensive information possible on the number of DFG proposals (especially Individual Research Grants) submitted over time and their outcome (rejection/approval). So far, this information has not been available at the TU Dresden. It is about an independent, voluntary recording of the performance of the applicants.
"I would like to achieve a significant improvement in the knowledge of applications submitted to the TU Dresden and indirectly their outcome during my term of office. Thus, especially in the area of Individual Research Grants, better support and advice for our applicants should be made possible. As a Liaison Officer, I am kindly asking for your valued participation. Your confidential data will be evaluated by me personally and only for the purposes of the function as a Liaison Officer," says Fricke's credo for the coming years.
If you would like to participate in the voluntary DFG proposal reporting process, we offer two forms here. Under Notification of Proposals, you can inform the DFG Liaison Officer of a new proposal, regardless of status and thus, if desired, only in the event of success. Under Update state you can update the status of already reported proposals. All information is provided voluntarily and is intended only for the DFG Liaison Officer.
