The Chair participates in the following reasearch networks:

• Association for the Scientific Development of ATM in Europe (ASDA)
• Airport Simulation and Performance Assessment Group (ASPAG)

Furthermore, Prof. Fricke has been a member of the The Board of Academic Advisers to the Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure for many year, where he became the chairman.
