Module	Flight Planning and Aircraft Operations: VW-VI-1642, VW-ATL-06, VW-VI-642 (expiring) and VW-LL-04 (expiring) (belonging to Flight Planning and Meteorology of Aeronautics) Flight Performance and Operations: D-WW-ING-1713 (together with Flight Performance, Fundamentals of Aircraft Engines, Meteorology in Aeronautics and Flight Planning) - expiring Aircraft Operations and Flight Planning: VW-Tec-VIW-214 (Meteorology in Aeronautics and Flight Planning) ATTENTION: The courses "Meteorology in Aeronautics" and "Flight Planning" are currently still offered and only in the summer semester. Thus, the module currently runs over two semesters. Basics of Flight Operations within the modern Cockpit: MW-MB-LRT-34 (together with Air Transport Facilities, Operations and Air Traffic Control)

Content of the Course:

This course teaches navigation procedures and the tasks and organization of flight operations services. In addition, crew resource management (CRM), flight operations technology and cockpit equipment/avionics and their future developments will be addressed.

Upon completion of this course, you will be familiar with the tasks of flight operations (operating procedures) and have a detailed command of the central elements of cockpit equipment. In addition, you will have knowledge of the structure and operation of fly-by-wire technology in aircraft as well as the opportunities of modern avionics for achieving economical and environmentally compatible flight operations.
