Content of the Course

This course will reinforce existing basic knowledge of airborne and ground-based systems and technologies for communications and surveillance.

You will acquire knowledge on the topics of voice communication (R/T: VHF, HF) and data communication (air-ground, ground-ground) in aviation as well as the technical principles of surveillance. In addition, the principle of radio waves for the purpose of communication in aviation and the operational aspects of ATC support systems are examined in more detail.
