Content of the Course
This course, together with part 2 in the summer term, provides a broad basic knowledge of the subject area of air traffic. In the first part of the course, specific process characteristics of the operation of aircraft from the perspective of air traffic control and the airport operator as well as their restrictions resulting from international and national legislation are discussed. In doing so, you will understand air traffic control and the aerodrome as companies operating under safety-related, economic and ecological constraints. Furthermore, you are familiar with the holistic allocation of the individual system elements and structures.
