Content of the Course
This course deals with the general insurance-relevant characteristics of air traffic and the factors influencing aviation safety. The general quantitative assessment possibilities of aviation safety and the safety management at airports and airlines are part of the curriculum.
Upon completion of this course, you will have knowledge of structures and measures to ensure aviation safety. You will be familiar with system-immanent and non-system-immanent influencing variables on aviation safety and know about the common methods for assessing and quantifying aviation safety. In addition, you will understand the objectives, structure and implementation of safety management systems at airports, ground handling services and, in particular, airlines.
