Chair of Helicopter Technolo­gies

The Chair of Helicopter Technologies at the Institute of Logistics and Aviation complements the existing lecture and research program on aeroplanes and deals with rotorcraft in general and helicopters in particular. The research work for the Chair takes place mainly at the Institute of Flight Systems Technology at the Braunschweig site of the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V., DLR).

The Institute

The Institute of Logistics and Aviation is part of the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Science at the Technischen Universität Dresden (TUD).  In addition to the methodical education of students in the various fields of transport science, the main focus of the institute lies with DFG basic research as well as application-oriented research. Selected research focuses of the three chairs are, amongst others:
