The 7th edition of the established "BIM in Infrastructure Transport and Energy" congress will take place in Dresden from March 8-10, 2026. The event will now be continued under the new name "BIM.Infra Kongress" with the same proven quality.

The hosts in 2026 are buildingSMART Deutschland e. V., the Verband Deutscher Eisenbahn-Ingenieure e. V., the TUD Dresden University of Technology and A+S Consult GmbH.

The congress aims to engage in conversation in a new, modern format, address current topics and continue to initiate dialog between business and politics.

The focus will be on the application of BIM in rail, road and energy infrastructure with a particular focus on the areas of existing buildings, planning, construction and maintenance.

In addition to exciting presentations, panel discussions and workshops, there will be an exclusive networking party the day before with a relaxed welcome round and a cultural highlight.

The two-day congress is aimed at employees of federal and state authorities, Deutsche Bahn AG, state and federal road construction administrations, energy transmission and network operators, engineering firms, planning and construction companies in the infrastructure sector, representatives of colleges and universities.
