Focus of work
- Cycling - Analysis and processing of GPS data as a planning tool
- Development of statistical models for estimating the network-wide volume of cycling traffic
Research projects
MOVE:ON - Cycling data for Germany. App-supported collection and evaluation of cycling data in Germany. Together with the cooperation partners flow.d GmbH and Klima-Bündnis e.V., route data is collected as part of the STADTRADELN campaign. Research content includes the conception of a panel evaluation and the extrapolation of the collected data to the average daily (DTV) bicycle traffic volume of a year. BMDV 01/2022 - 12/2024.
