TU Dresden / ScaDS.AI @ COSEAL 2023
From March 6 to 8, the ScaDS.AI team (Pascal Kerschke, Lennart Schäpermeier, and Konstantin Dietrich) of the Chair of Big Data Analytics in Transportation at TU Dresden successfully participated in the 10th workshop on COnfiguration and SElection of ALgorithms (COSEAL) in Paris, France. Lennart Schäpermeier was involved in the organization of the workshop as Co-General Chair.
In addition to attending interesting talks and having productive exchanges with other researchers, our team presented two of their own papers in the poster sessions. Lennart Schäpermeier presented a poster on the publication “HPO×ELA: Investigating Hyperparameter Optimization Landscapes by Means of Exploratory Landscape Analysis” [1], which was produced in cooperation with colleagues from the University of Münster and the MCML. Furthermore, Konstantin Dietrich presented a poster on his publication “Increasing the Diversity of Benchmark Function Sets Through Affine Recombination” [2].
Finally, Pascal Kerschke had the honor to announce that the Chair of Big Data Analytics in Transportation will host the COSEAL Workshop 2024 in Dresden.
