Excursion: Sachschen Switzerland National Park and guided tour of Schmilka

In a refreshing break from the usual office routine, the chair members embarked on an exhilarating hike to the picturesque mountains of Sachschen Switzerland National Park, immersing themselves in the breathtaking natural landscapes. The rugged terrain of the trail provided the perfect backdrop for the team's hike, encouraging both physical exertion and mental rejuvenation.

After conquering the mountains, the team descended upon the charming village of Schmilka,  nestled gracefully on the banks of the tranquil Elbe River. The highlight of the visit was a guided tour that showcased the village's traditional mill powered by a natural water stream. The exploration continued with visits to a local bakery and brewery. The brewery tour provided an engaging lesson in the intricate art of beer-making, complete with fascinating anecdotes about the village's brewing history.

As the day unfolded, the team gathered for a wholesome organic lunch, savoring dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients. The meal not only satisfied the palate but also served as a testament to the village's commitment to sustainable living and eco-conscious practices.

The serene environment facilitated open conversations and strengthened the interpersonal connections essential for a successful and harmonious team.
