Long Night of Science 2024
On the 14th of June, our chair participated in the highly anticipated "Long Night of Science 2024," hosted by the city of Dresden. During the event, Prof. Okhrin delivered a captivating lecture on "Nobel Prize in Economics 2023: einfach erklärt," while Dr. Treiber explored the intriguing topic of "Der Weg aus dem Stau - können Verkehrswissenschaftler helfen."
The centerpiece of the event was an impressive exhibition, where our team members showcased a series of awe-inspiring experiments related to statistics, robotics cars based on reinforcement learning, and traffic simulation (traffic-simulation.de)

Students from various schools and universities actively engaged with researchers, enthusiastically asking questions and exploring the possibilities in the fields of economics, statistics, and transportation. The event served as a great platform for fostering a passion for science and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
