Mr. Kevin Otieno joined as Visiting Researcher

Mr. Kevin Otieno has recently joined as a visiting researcher at the Chair of Econometrics and Statistics, esp. in the Transport Sector. Mr. Otieno is pursuing his PhD at Strathmore University in Nairobi, focusing on "An Integrated Copula Selection Method for Climate Data: Application of Kenyan Data., under the supervision of Prof. Bernard Omolo and Dr. Linda Chaba.

The research is generously funded by the DAAD In-Country/In-Region Programme in Developing Countries, which supports highly qualified doctoral candidates in developing regions. This funding not only underscores the significance of Mr. Otieno's work but also highlights the importance of fostering academic exchange and collaboration to address global challenges such as climate change.
