Mr. Shashank Rajput and Mr. Shivachethan Venakteshappa Joined as Visiting Researchers

Mr. Shashank Rajput (right) and Mr. Shivachethan Venakteshappa (left) have recently joined as visiting researchers for six months. They are currently pursuing their PhDs under the guidance of Dr. Venkatesan Kanagaraj at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and Dr. Gowri Asaithambi at the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati, respectively.

Their research is funded by the "Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration (SPARC)" under the Ministry of Education, India. This initiative supports a collaboration between IIT Kanpur, IIT Tirupati, and TU Dresden, represented by Prof. Ostap Okhrin and Dr. Martin Treiber. The research focuses on "Deep Understanding of Driving Behaviour in Lane-Free Mixed Traffic to Optimize its Efficiency."
