Participation in the visit of Parliamentary State Secretary Mario Brandenburg to ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig
On June 30th, 2023, Prof. Ostap Okhrin and chair member Dianzhao Li participated in the visit of Parliamentary State Secretary for Education and Research (BMBF) Mario Brandenburg to ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig as part of his tour of the German AI centers.
During the visit, the latest developments and statutes of the research areas in ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig are demonstrated by the principal investigators. Prof. Ostap Okhrin and Dianzhao Li demonstrated the Reinforcement Learning (RL) driven autonomous robot cars, with the capabilities of lane keeping driving maneuver. In addition, Prof. Okhrin and Mario Brandenburg engaged in a productive discussion about the practical applications of the RL algorithm and the exciting prospects for future work.
