VISUS

The demonstration laboratory „VISUS“ is currently under construction. Once finished it will comprise the following components:

• Telematics system-demonstrator (Traffic, DAB/DMB, DVB-T/H, DRM, Car-to-X-applications, etc.)

• GIS-Demonstrator (GPS-receiver, navigation systems, LBS-applications, etc.)

• Sensor-Demonstrator (electromagnetic compass, accelerometer, yaw rate sensor, HALL-sensor, inertial, video detection, radar- and sonar-based sensors, infrared-beacons. etc.)

• ICT-Demonstrator (DSL-, powerline-system components, optical fiber, FSO-, componenten, radio, mobile train radio transmission on model train example, and others.)

With this new laboratory a modern academic education in the field of transport telematics will be guaranteed.
