Completion of the mFUND IMoSa project - Intelligent Mobility Saxony
In the BMDV fundet IMoSa project- Intelligent Mobility Saxony, a comprehensive inventory of stakeholders, infrastructure and traffic flows in the Zwickau/Meerane region was carried out from November 2023 to October 2024. Significant traffic and logistical problems were identified. Optimization potentials, in particular due to industries with a large workforce and pronounced shift operation (including regular overloading of certain infrastructures) and just-in-time or just-in-sequence deliveries for production (including the use and possible overloading of buffer capacities at the destination). Adapted measures were identified. The measures deemed most suitable were further specified in terms of functionality, actors and data requirements. Proposals for implementation include a dashboard with current traffic information, a Tunnel risk manager and an assistance system to support crisis managers in challenging situations.
